Cancer Caregivers Support Group brings caregivers together to discuss the heartbreak, joys and challenges of supporting a loved one through cancer. The group meets the second and fourth Monday of every month in the Valley View Chapel from 1 until 2:30 p.m.
Creative Explorations is a group designed to help patients express their thoughts, emotions, hopes and dreams through poetry. Participants are invited to meet in the Alpine Room at Valley View the second Wednesday of every month from 10:30 a.m. until noon.
The Healing Brush provides patients with an opportunity to express their self through practicing the visual arts. An artist facilitator leads patients in creative journaling, painting, drawing, coloring and more. Classes meet on Mondays, from 9 a.m. until noon.
Coffee, Walk and Talk is an informal group that gathers to walk outside to enjoy conversation and then returns to the cancer center for complementary coffee, lattes or tea. The group meets at the chapel on Thursdays at 10 a.m. and the gathering continues until noon.
