ABOUT DR. GEORGE
I have been in practice in the Roaring Fork Valley since 2013. I specialize in sports medicine and joint replacement of the knee and hip. It is my passion to restore patients to the lifestyle they desire. With minimally invasive and arthroscopic treatment options, we are able to return patients to activities as efficiently as possible. I have a special interest in hip and knee surgery, and offer hip arthroscopy for treatment of hip injuries.
I grew up in Iowa and attended college at the University of Iowa, where I was a member of the University of Iowa Swimming Team. I attended medical school at the University of Iowa Carver College of Medicine and then completed my orthopaedic surgery residency at the University of Illinois at Chicago. I received subspecialty training in orthopaedic sports medicine with the Aspen Sports Medicine Foundation.
My wife Marni and our son Ryder love living and playing here in the Roaring Fork Valley. I am excited to continue keeping everyone healthy and living the life they desire.

MATT OSIER | PATIENT TESTIMONIAL
It was the beginning of Matt’s junior year of high school when he was diagnosed with Patellar Tendonitis. Not wanting to miss his first season on the varsity football team, Matt played thru the pain. When the season was over, the pain in his knee had gotten progressively worse. Matt had done everything he could to find relief from the pain, but nothing was working. When Dr. George came into the picture he offered a new course of treatment, Platelet Rich Plasma injections. The results were astounding.”Being able to run again and have that freedom to go from not being able to jump, squat, run, really do anything without pain and have that total range of motion was such a great thing, especially as an athlete.”
