Corey M. Dobson, MD
Family medicine goes beyond the physical; it’s emotional, social and spiritual. Getting to know patients fully is extremely important to me, and something I really enjoy. I completed my residency at St. Mary’s Family Practice in Grand Junction, and received my medical degree from the University of Colorado School of Medicine. Before I went to medical school, I was a Certified Nursing Assistant, caring for hospice and Alzheimer’s patients, Lab Research Intern in plant biology, and a Firefighter and Fuels Crew member for the US Forest Service in my hometown of Salida. In terms of what Eagle has to offer, with all the outdoor amenities my family and I enjoy; mountain biking, trail running and hiking, it was a great fit.

Rebecca C. Urquhart, PA
What I really love about Eagle Valley Family Practice is the strong sense of community. After working with Vail Ski Patrol for 9 seasons, and as an EMT for the Eagle County Ambulance District, I knew I wanted pursue a career in medicine. I attended The University of Utah Physician Assistant (PA) Program. Prior to joining Eagle Valley Family Practice, I worked as a PA for the inpatient neurology group at Swedish Medical Center in Denver and then I worked in Community Health in Boulder and Denver. As a PA, I enjoy the challenge and nuances to care that come with general medicine. When I’m not seeing patients, I ski as much as I can, mountain bike, hike, camp, and trail run.
