Prenatal and Postnatal Yoga

The prenatal and postnatal yoga program from Women’s Health helps new and expecting moms create community and support networks while exploring expectations and intentions for birth and motherhood. Yoga tools help support the mind, nervous system, and self care while creating awareness, support, and prevention for rectus diastasis, general pelvic floor health, and re-education regarding the use and importance of one’s core.

Journey of Loss

Creating a community of compassion to support families through the loss of their child.


  • Providing professional resources to support families in expressing their feelings of loss and grief.
  • Assisting parents and families in connecting with other parents who have experienced loss and providing facilitated support.
  • Educating both the medical and local community to the understanding that these families are on a life-long journey.
  • Providing support comfort at known difficult milestones such as dates of birth, death and holidays.


Group meets the first Thursday of every month a.t 6 p.m. in the Valley View Hospital Chapel.


Trained facilitators reach out to parents at time of loss and at regularly planned times folloing their loss. Initial contact is one-on-one with the hope of incorporating new parents/families into loss group monthly meetings. If you choose to continue, one-on-one support is available upon request.

HEALTH4LIFE – Diabetes Prevention Program

Valley View now offers Pre-Diabetes Prevention classes, starting Jan 16 at 5:30 p.m. This year-long program will meet weekly, 2 to 4 times per month. If you are at risk for pre-diabetes we can help. Health4Life Diabetes prevention program at Valley View is a Centers for Disease Control (CDC) intervention program that can reduce the risk of developing diabetes by up to 71%. Health4Life integrates education, exercise, nutrition and support to help change habits and lifestyles that can lower your risk of pre-diabetes.
