The body’s hands and wrists are very delicate areas, containing an intricate network of nerves and blood vessels, as well as tendons, ligaments, muscles, skin and bones. Wrist and hand injuries and disorders can cause pain, loss of sensation, loss of movement, and impaired function which all dramatically impact activities of daily living. A problem in the hand or wrist must be dealt with very carefully because of all the structures and functions involved.

The Board Certified orthopaedic surgeons at Glenwood Orthopaedic Center have specialized training for the evaluation, diagnosis and treatment of wrist and hand problems. Through a broad spectrum of hand and wrist care, our surgeons help patients return to work or their favorite activities as quickly as possible.
