ON-LINE CPR Classes Now Available!
Valley View Hospital is now offering On-Line CPR classes. We will also continue to offer our regular CPR classes. Please read the information below to find out more about the On-Line CPR options.
Check your CPR card expiration. You don’t want to let it expire, before you get renewed. You still must call to register at 970-384-7566; DO NOT EMAIL.
This American Heart Association (AHA) course is designed for those who are in need of the Health Care Renewal or Full Health Care Provider certifications.
The on-line class (Part 1) generally requires 1 to 2 hours to complete. A student has up to 12 months to complete the on-line portion once they have officially registered. Students can also log in and out as many times as they like, as their schedule permits. To register go to www.onlineaha.org. Print your certificate and bring with you to Part 2 (Skills check session).
Once the on-line portion is completed, it is then followed by a Skills Check Session with an instructor. A student has 60 days to complete this portion after the on-line certificate is finished. Call 970-384-7566 to schedule your appointment.
The cost is $35.00. The on-line class, coupled with the Skills Check Session can save approximately 2-3 hours compared the traditional class.
All registered students will have access to the BLS Health Care Provider reference material for 12 months via the AHA website.
The current On-Line Skills Check Sessions (30-45 minute slots) are as follows:
- September 9th - 5:30-7pm
- October 14th – 5:30-7pm
If you are interested in registering for an on-line class, please follow these steps:
