The Valley View Hospital Cancer Center strives to be the destination of choice for cancer treatment in our region.  Our mission is to deliver the highest quality, most comprehensive and holistic care available to our community members living with cancer. The Cancer Center provides access to vital services in a comfortable, healing environment that nurtures the mind, body and spirit.

Valley View Hospital’s team of professionals is comprised of not only expert physicians in both general and disease specific cancers, but also oncology nursing, clinical trials, physical therapy, pharmacy services, integrated therapies, nutritional counseling, chaplaincy, social work, case management and genetic counseling. Our medical librarian and Cancer Resource Center volunteers are available to assist in obtaining educational information tailored to meet individual needs as well.

The oncology care team is here to help manage and support all aspects of the patient and family experience, including emotional and financial concerns which often arise when cancer is diagnosed.  We provide chemotherapy, physician services and integrated therapies daily, Monday through Friday, in our outpatient clinic setting.  Our social worker and case managers are also available weekdays, as are most other hospital support and clinical services.  Genetic counseling and physical therapy are arranged by appointment based on individual need and circumstances.

Future plans to expand the provision of comprehensive cancer care in our community include the addition of radiation oncology services in a new state-of-the-art facility to be constructed on the Valley View Hospital campus by 2013.
