Childbirth Education Classes (Full Class Series)

Class Description

In the Full Childbirth Education class series, 15 different relaxation techniques are covered, and we spend about 3 hours doing so. We cover nutrition, anatomy, the entire labor process, all equipment and technology, medications, postpartum care, newborn care, breastfeeding, car seat safety, and "Couplet Care".

Classes will meet weekly, for 4 consecutive weeks.

In Glenwood Springs at Valley View Hospital in the Family Birthplace Classroom, every Wednesday from 6:00 pm to 9:00 pm

Cost is $40 per couple, which includes the book.

A Family Medicine physician or a pediatrician will attend one of each class session for questions.

When you're checking into or out of a hospital, you don't need to worry about something as pedestrian as parking. At Valley View Hospital, you can just pull up to main entrance, and we'll park your car. It's just one more way we take care of you.
