Safety

Because safety is stressed in the hospital, please check with a nurse before bringing toys or food from home into your child's room.

It is our policy to pull up the bedside rails at night for all pediatric patients and to have crib rails up whenever the child is in the crib.

Please remember that hospital rooms are not child proof as your home is. Please request electrical outlet covers when toddlers are in the room and be careful about plastic bags.

If you must leave your child alone, please let us know as soon as possible so that we may make arrangements for your child's supervision.

Safety is our number one concern with our pediatric patients.
