Breastfeeding Basics Class – In-Person
Presented by the Family Birthplace and Women’s Health at Valley View

Family Birthplace Classroom (located next to the Family Birthplace at Valley View)

Prepare to breastfeed with a 2-hour class on breastfeeding techniques, what to expect and more. The following topics will be covered:

• In depth coverage of early breastfeeding initiation
• Elements of skin to skin
• Baby-led feeding
• Detecting early breastfeeding challenges
• How to breastfeed multiples
• How to express breast milk
• Breast milk storage and cleaning guidelines

Classes are capped at 8 attendees due to safety precautions around COVID-19.
You are required to wear a mask your entire duration at Valley View.

Cost is $25.
