Calaway·Young Cancer Center Survive & Thrive: Walking Meditation

June 18, 2019 @ 5:30 pm - 7:00 pm

Event Navigation

The Calaway·Young Cancer Center invites current and former patients and caregivers to Labyrinth: Walking Meditation, part of the Survive and Thrive event series.

Jessica Armstrong, our talented labyrinth facilitator, explains that while labyrinths may look complex, they are simply a single path that leads to a central area and back out again. Labyrinths create the space and time to reconnect with one’s self, environment, and community.

Participants will learn to use this form of walking meditation to practice mindfulness, navigate life transitions, cultivate peace, and tune into one’s own inner wisdom.

No cost to attend. Please RSVP by calling 970.384.6953.
