American Heart Association Heartsaver® First Aid CPR AED (LIVE CLASS)
Heartsaver® First Aid CPR AED is an instructor-led course that teaches students critical skills needed to respond to and manage an emergency until emergency medical services arrives. This course is designed to prepare students to provide first aid, CPR, and use an automated external defibrillator (AED) in a safe, timely, and effective manner for adults, children and infants.
First Aid CPR AED teaches skills with the American Heart Association’s (AHA) research-proven practice-while-watching technique, which allows instructors to observe students, provide feedback, and guide students’ learning. 100 percent classroom training means students are with an AHA instructor for their entire learning experience. The video-based course ensures consistency and the instructor-led, hands-on class format reinforces skills proficiency.
Heartsaver® courses are intended for individuals with little or no medical training, who need a course completion card for job, regulatory (e.g., OSHA), or other requirements. These courses can also be taken by anyone who wants to be prepared for an emergency in any setting.
Upon successful completion of both the online and hands-on portions of the course, students receive a course completion card, valid for two years.
