Rocky Mountain Urology Center provides comprehensive care for a wide range of urologic conditions. Our team offers advanced diagnostic testing, minimally invasive procedures, robotic-assisted surgery and personalized treatment plans.
Elevated PSA
An elevated prostate-specific antigen (PSA) level can represent undiagnosed prostate cancer. Not every patient with an elevated PSA needs a prostate biopsy. We offer a comprehensive evaluation, including additional biomarker testing and high-quality prostate MRI, to help determine the most appropriate next steps for diagnosis and care.
Prostate biopsy
We were the first urology group in the region to offer transperineal prostate biopsy, a minimally invasive approach with a near-zero risk of infection and higher patient satisfaction than traditional transrectal prostate biopsy. Our providers have successfully performed hundreds of these procedures to date.
Urinary Incontinence
We offer a wide range of treatments for male and female patients experiencing urinary incontinence, including: • Bulkamid® • Urethral sling procedures • Advance XP® Male Sling • Botox® • Percutaneous tibial nerve stimulation (PTNS) • Sacral neuromodulation (InterStim® and Axonics®)
Prostate Cancer and Robotic-Assisted prostatectomy
Our providers specialize in robotic-assisted prostate cancer surgery, delivering high-quality outcomes for patients requiring prostatectomy. We also have an experienced radiation oncologist certified in all forms of radiation therapy, including brachytherapy.
Enlarged Prostate (BPH)
For patients with benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH), also known as an enlarged prostate, we offer advanced treatment options beyond traditional surgery, including: • Aquablation® • UroLift® • Holmium laser enucleation of the prostate (HoLEP)
Kidney Tumors and Renal Masses
Our providers perform partial and total kidney removal procedures for cancerous growths, with a focus on achieving excellent outcomes while preserving kidney function whenever possible.
Personalized Cancer Approach
Every cancer patient benefits from a multidisciplinary approach. Cases are reviewed by our multidisciplinary tumor board to ensure treatment recommendations are evidence-based and tailored to each patient. We also offer a multidisciplinary clinic where patients can meet with both a radiation oncologist and urologic oncologist on the same day, making care more convenient and coordinated.
