What Causes Female Cancer?

The cause of female-specific cancer is unclear, but we do know it starts with a mutation of a small group of cells that eventually divide and multiply quickly, resulting in a malignant tumor. Some risks factors may include HPV (sexually transmitted disease), advanced age, genetics, a weak immune system, beginning menstruation before the age of 12, hormone imbalance, and having a family history of cancer.
