Angela Ammon, MD

After graduating from University of Cincinnati Medical School and completing residency at St. Mary’s in Grand Junction, Colorado, Dr. Ammon joined the Eagle Valley community in 1997. She is Board Certified in Family Medicine and member of the American Academy of Family Medicine. When not working, Dr. Ammon enjoys time with her husband and 3 children, skiing and rooting for her Alma Mater, the University of Notre Dame.

Corey M. Dobson, MD

Dr. Dobson attended medical school at the University of Colorado School of Medicine and completed his residency at St. Mary’s in Grand Junction, Colorado. Prior to attending medical school, he was a Certified Nursing Assistant, caring for hospice and Alzheimer’s patients, a lab research intern in plant biology, and a firefighter and fuels crew member for the US Forest Service in his hometown of Salida. Getting to know his patients is important to him. Outside of work, Dr. Dobson spends time outside with his family, and enjoys mountain biking, trail running and hiking.

Crystal Walden Roney, MD

As a graduate of Colorado Mountain College and Westmont College, Dr. Roney earned her medical degree at the University of Colorado, Denver in 1994, and completed residency in Family Medicine at St. Mary’s in Grand Junction, Colorado. After residency, she worked at Sage Memorial Hospital in Ganado, Arizona on the Navajo Reservation for four years and continued on to work at Mountain Family Health Center in Glenwood Springs, Colorado. Dr. Roney joined the Eagle Valley Family Practice in September, 2008. She enjoys spending time with family at their ranch up Gypsum Creek. Dr. Roney’s professional interest is in women’s health care, pediatrics and internal medicine. She is also fluent in Spanish.

Rebecca C. Urquhart, PA

After working with Vail Ski Patrol for 9 seasons, and as an EMT for the Eagle County Ambulance District, Rebecca knew she wanted to pursue a career in medicine. She attended The University of Utah Physician Assistant (PA) Program. Prior to joining Eagle Valley Family Practice, she worked as a PA for the inpatient neurology group at Swedish Medical Center in Denver and then worked in community health in Boulder and Denver. Rebecca enjoys the sense of community at Eagle Valley Family Practice and the challenge and nuances to care that comes with general medicine. When she is not seeing patients, she enjoys skiing, mountain biking, hiking, camping, and trail running.
