The Chat - A group for men with prostate cancer to connect, share experiences and learn from one another.
- Categories: Calaway-Young Cancer Center Events, Cancer Support Group
This supportive group offers men with prostate cancer a welcoming space to connect, share experiences and learn from one another. Whether you are newly diagnosed, in active treatment or navigating survivorship, you’ll find understanding peers who relate to the physical and emotional challenges that can come with prostate cancer.
Group discussions focus on how prostate cancer affects overall quality of life — including health concerns, treatment decisions, side effects, relationships and day‑to‑day wellbeing. Participants are encouraged to share at their own comfort level, and listening and support are just as valued as speaking.
In addition to group conversations, there are occasional opportunities to hear from guest speakers who will offer helpful, practical information on topics such as treatment updates, symptom management, emotional health and lifestyle strategies.
