Coping with Cancer Support Group
- Categories: Calaway-Young Cancer Center Events, Cancer Support Group
A welcoming space for individuals with cancer and their loved ones to come together, share experiences, receive support and exchange helpful information.
Participants are invited to share personal experiences, receive emotional support and exchange helpful information with others who understand the challenges of a cancer diagnosis. The group is open to men and women who are in active treatment or who have recently completed treatment. Whether you are navigating physical side effects, emotional ups and downs or the transition into survivorship, this group provides a place to talk openly in a safe, supportive environment. Discussions may include coping strategies, self‑care, communication with loved ones, managing uncertainty and adjusting to life during and after treatment.
