Valley View is pleased to announce its Women’s Health Series as part of its Valley View University (VVU) series. Whether juggling career, family or personal goals, this series offers expert insights, practical tips and a Q&A to help women learn more about their well-being through important health topics. These free, live virtual webinars designed specifically for women by female providers will take place via Zoom on select dates in January and February from 12 to 1 p.m.

Early Detection and Prevention: Your Guide to Breast Health | Thursday, Jan. 29, 12 p.m. MT
- Details: Lauren Kropp, MD, a radiation oncologist at Valley View’s Calaway-Young Cancer Center, will present “Early Detection and Prevention: Your Guide to Breast Health.” In this 30-minute webinar, followed by an open Q&A, Dr. Kropp will discuss methods to prevent breast cancer, including early detection and lifestyle changes.
Living Well as You Age: Practical Tips for Lifelong Vitality | Wednesday, Feb. 4, 12 p.m. MT
- Details: Susan Williams, MD, an internist at Valley View’s Internal Medicine, will present “Living Well as You Age: Practical Tips for Lifelong Vitality.” In this 30-minute webinar, followed by an open Q&A, Dr. Williams will discuss the importance of annual screenings along with diet and lifestyle changes that can help women age well.

Navigating the Change: What Every Woman Should Know About Perimenopause and Menopause | Wednesday, Feb. 18, 12 p.m. MT
- Details: Haley Hoffman, DO, a trained family medicine physician at Valley View's Roaring Fork Family Practice, will present "Navigating the Change: What Every Woman Should Know About Perimenopause and Menopause.” In this 30-minute webinar, followed by an open Q&A, Dr. Hoffman will discuss what to expect and how to manage the symptoms of perimenopause and menopause.

Understanding Chest Pain and Heart Failure in Women | Wednesday, Feb. 25, 12 p.m. MT
- Details: Sonja Hanson Fauchet, PA-C, MPAS, a cardiology physician assistant at Valley View’s Heart and Vascular Center, will present “Understanding Chest Pain and Heart Failure in Women.” In this 30-minute webinar, followed by an open Q&A, Sonja will discuss how to recognize chest pain in women, including symptoms of diastolic heart failure, when to seek care and treatment options.
