Alyse Poll, NP is the newest primary care provider to join Valley View’s Roaring Fork Family Practice team. Alyse is a nurse practitioner with over 10 years of experience in the healthcare field, four of which have been focused on advance practice. She obtained her Masters of Science in nursing at Walden University in Minneapolis, Minnesota with a special focus in adult/gerontology primary care and earned her post-master’s certificate from the University of Cincinnati in family practice in 2018. She recently moved back to the Roaring Fork Valley after practicing for three years in Alaska.

What drew her to family medicine? “I enjoy working with patients of all ages and stages. It is very rewarding to work with families and transition with them and their health needs, and I enjoy the relationships that are built along the way.”

What is something about her that most people don’t know? “I am a die-hard morning person. I enjoy waking up early and having quiet time with a coffee in hand. I also have an identical twin sister who lives in Manhattan.”

When Alyse isn’t working, you’ll likely find her spending time in the great outdoors with her family, hiking, hunting and exploring new places.

“I am excited to be back with Valley View Hospital,” she says. “Working with Roaring Fork Family Practice has been wonderful. All the providers and staff truly care about their patients and have a desire to participate in making the community healthy. Plus, I am excited to help with expand our frailty program as I enjoy working with older adult patients.”
