Valley View Hospital (VVH) recently participated in a Community Health Needs Assessment administrated by the National Rural Health Resource Center (The Cetner) of Duluth, Minnesota. The survey, which was mailed to 800 randomly selected residents across the valley, focused on three key focus areas to gather information regarding:
- Demographics of respondents
- Utilization and perception of local health services
- Perception of community health
Of those 800 mailed surveys, 149 of them were returned, providing a 20% response rate. Based on the sample size, surveyors are 95% confident that the responses are representative of the service area population.
