Valley View is excited to announce the arrival of Family Medicine Corey M. Dobson, MD, to the town of Eagle. Dr. Dobson will bring his expertise of broad-spectrum care to people of all ages to Eagle Valley Family Practice.
Specializing in Family Medicine, Dr. Dobson will provide personal, comprehensive, and continuing care for individuals and families in the community. Building long-term relationships with patients; focusing on providing preventative care, education, chronic illness diagnosis, treatment and management.
Before coming to Valley View, Dr. Dobson completed his residency at St. Mary’s Family Practice in Grand Junction. He received his medical degree from the University Of Colorado School Of Medicine. Prior to receiving his medical degree, he was a Certified Nursing Assistant, caring for hospice and Alzheimer’s patients, Lab Research Intern in plant biology, and a Firefighter and Fuels Crew member for the US Forest Service in his hometown of Salida.

“It wasn’t’ clear at first that I wanted to practice medicine, I didn’t know a whole lot about it, including the process. What I did know was biology and science fascinated me, and I really wanted to help people feel better. The scope of family medicine was my way of developing a career that integrates the biological, clinical, and behavioral sciences to improve health and wellbeing of patients.”
“I wanted to get back to a place like Salida, my hometown. In terms of what Eagle has to offer, with all the outdoor amenities my family and I enjoy; mountain biking, trail running and hiking, it was a great fit.”
Dr. Dobson is now seeing patients as well as accepting appointments at Eagle Valley Family Practice located at 0377 Sylvan Lake Rd.
