Valley View is pleased to announce Glenwood Orthopedic Center is Growing

Throughout history, the Roaring Fork Valley has attracted people from all over with beautiful scenery, diverse recreation and leisure opportunities. This remains true today! In fact, the Roaring Fork Valley’s attractions have made it a regional destination for talented physicians wanting to embrace the quality of life we all enjoy. This spring three new physicians join Dr. Robert F. Adams, and Izaak Fitzgerlad, physicians assistant, at Glenwood Orthopaedic Center.

Meet the physicians:

Christopher A. George, M.D., Orthopedic Sports Medicine – Glenwood Orthopaedic Center

Specializing in Orthopedic Sports Medicine, Total Joint Reconstruction and General Orthopedics, Dr. George brings his experience as an athlete, team physician and medical training at the University of Iowa. He completed his orthopedic surgery residency at the University of Illinois Hospital and Health Science System, in Chicago. He is a Board Member of Aspen Sports Medicine Foundation Fellowship and Aspen-Bariloche Medical Exchange Program.

Michael B. Grillot, M.D., Orthopedic Hand Surgery – Glenwood Orthopedic Center

Dr. Grillot is a board-certified orthopedic surgeon currently practicing in Missouri. He completed medical school from the University of Kansas in 1988 before finishing his residency from the same program in 1993. Dr. Grillot immediately entered into a hand fellowship from the Tampa Orthopedic Program and finished there in 1994. Currently, Dr. Grillot shares time in between Bolivar and Joplin, Missouri, working at both Mercy and Parkview Medical Center. Although his primary focus is on the hand, he also does upper extremity, replants and general orthopedics.
