About Kaitlyn
Kaitlyn Kropf, RN, MSN, PNP-C, is a pediatric nurse practitioner with Valley View’s Pediatric Partners, providing comprehensive care for infants, children and adolescents. Kaitlyn earned her bachelor’s degree in neuroscience from Ohio Wesleyan University, completed a graduate certificate in biomedical neuroscience at University of Florida and went on to earn her Master of Science in Nursing from The Ohio State University.
Born and raised in Ohio, Kaitlyn found her passion for health care at an early age through childcare and caregiving roles before beginning her career as a pediatric nurse at Nationwide Children’s Hospital. Inspired by a cousin’s autism diagnosis and her father’s experience with multiple sclerosis, she was drawn to a career where she could make a lasting difference for children and families.
For Kaitlyn, caring for others brings a sense of purpose and deeper perspective to her own life.
“I enjoy leaving my worries at the door and being completely focused on helping my patients,” she said. “Being able to serve families in their time of need and make a positive impact is very rewarding.”
Kaitlyn is also passionate about clinical research, with experience in neuroscience, gene therapy and vaccine research. Seeing how infusion therapy improved her father’s quality of life reinforced her interest in using research to advance patient care.
Kaitlyn has been practicing as a pediatric nurse practitioner in the region since 2022 and is excited to be part of Pediatric Partners at Valley View. Together with her husband, Kaitlyn enjoys the Roaring Fork Valley’s abundant outdoor opportunities, including skiing, rafting, fishing and more.
