About Maura
Maura Fagan, MPAS, PA-C, is a physician assistant with Valley View ENT. She works with Dr. Johnson to treat a wide range of ear, nose and throat conditions for patients of all ages. She holds a bachelor’s degree in psychology and a bachelor’s degree in natural science from the University of Pittsburgh, where she also earned her master’s degree in physician assistant studies from the School of Rehabilitation Science.
As a physician assistant in ENT, Maura takes pride in helping improve patients’ quality of life, whether that means supporting better hearing, easier breathing or clearer speech. “So much of ENT care is tied to how people communicate and interact with others,” Maura says. “It’s very rewarding to help support those parts of daily life for people of all ages.”
Maura is committed to providing evidence-based care with compassion and meeting each person where they are. “Every patient is different,” she says. “The right treatment starts with clear communication, meaningful relationships and making sure each patient feels heard and seen.”
Originally from Michigan, Maura spent much of her adult life in Florida and Pennsylvania before relocating to the Roaring Fork Valley in April 2024. Outside of work, she enjoys exploring Colorado’s Western Slope, hiking, road biking, cross-country skiing, rafting and paddleboarding. She also has two cats, Ash and Willow — fitting names for cats she adopted while Christmas tree shopping in Carbondale.
