About Tess

Tess Jankovsky, MD, is a board-certified internal medicine physician at Valley View Internal Medicine. She received her medical degree from the University of Colorado School of Medicine and completed both her internship and residency in Internal Medicine at the University of Washington. She practiced previously at Valley View for nine years, before leaving to spend a year abroad with her family. She returned to Valley View in 2025.

Dr. Jankovsky is passionate about internal medicine in rural communities and, as a fluent Spanish speaker, enjoys connecting with and providing care for the Spanish-speaking community. “There’s an added layer to knowing your patients in and outside of the clinic setting” says Dr. Jankovsky. “To know whole families and be a part of your patients’ lives, helps creates a longitude relationship that allows me to care for them as fully as possible.”

Dr. Jankovsky’s professional interests include preventative care that aligns with a patient’s goals and catching issues that arise as early on as possible. “I enjoy the wholistic nature of being in primary care and internal medicine,” she says, “and establishing that therapeutic relationship to ensure every patient’s needs are being attended to.”

Born in Glenwood Springs, Dr. Jankovsky recently returned to the Roaring Fork Valley and is thrilled to have the opportunity to focus on the health and well-being of her hometown community. When not in clinic, you will find her outdoors, biking, skiing and competing in triathlons with the Roaring Fork Women’s Triathlon Team, where she is an assistant coach.
