In this 20-minute webinar, followed by open Q&A, Medical Oncologist Dr. Alexandra Donovan from the Calaway•Young Cancer Center will review the different cellular markers (Estrogen Receptors, HER2 status) that help determine treatment needed before or after breast cancer surgery. She will discuss who needs chemotherapy or hormone blocking pills and why. This webinar is designed for anyone interested in learning about why breast cancers have very different treatment options depending on their stage and markers, and why you or someone you know may need a different treatment than someone else.
