Dr. George received his medical degree from the University of Iowa College of Medicine. He completed his orthopaedic surgery residency training at the University of Illinois Hospital in Chicago. He completed subspecialty training in Orthopaedic sports medicine with the Aspen Sports Medicine Foundation in Aspen, Colorado. He has received awards both for orthopaedic research and leadership.
