ValleyOrtho at Valley View has partnered with the Town of Basalt to co-brand the town’s two Basalt Connect community transportation vehicles. “Our sponsorship of Basalt Connect is our way of supporting the active Roaring Fork Valley lifestyle and ensuring every resident in the Midvalley has access to the outdoor locations and activities they enjoy,” says Dr. Ferdinand “Tito” Liotta, Medical Director of ValleyOrtho at Valley View. “It also provides a vital asset for those who travel to and from our Valley View Willits Health Care Center for appointments and consultations.” Michelle Thibeault, Planning Director at the Town of Basalt says, “The Basalt Connect is an important community benefit that reduces single-vehicle trips and creates greater access to transportation throughout Town. With critical partner support and sponsorships, the Town is able to continue offering this service.” The Basalt Connect offers free, on-demand rides every day with extended service during the summer from 7 a.m. - 10 a.m. and again from 3 p.m. to 10 p.m.to and from downtown Basalt, Willits and nearby neighborhoods in the service area.
