About Gabrielle
Gabby Beaudoin, LSW, is a behavioral health provider at Silt Family Practice. She earned her Master of Social Work degree from University of Denver. At Valley View, Gabby provides integrated mental health care, providing direct access though the Silt Family Practice primary care clinic.
Prior to joining Valley View, Gabby worked in Garfield County, Colorado’s Department of Human Services as a child welfare advocate where she worked with children and their families, connecting them with resources to advance their mental health and wellbeing. She held research positions at Bradley Hospital in Providence, Rhode Island and the University of Maine at Farmington, Division of Psychology and Human Development in Farmington, Maine. She worked clinically with children through Andwell Health Partners in Lewison, Maine.
Gabby is a strong advocate for realizing access to mental health care in rural settings.
“Often in rural communities people lack access to mental health-based resources,” she says. “It is vital to increase access to counseling and community engagement for people who may experience increased isolation or stress.” She also advocates for compassionate LGBQT/NB health equity, suicide prevention and how to support suicide loss survivors.
When working with patients, Gabby empowers her patients with self-advocacy. “We can all learn from past experiences, people we admire, or from relationships in our communities. But sometimes it’s hard to access those solutions. I am trained to not only ask good questions but know how to access local resources and use them.”
Originally from rural Maine, Gabby has lived in the Roaring Fork Valley since 2023. Outside of work, she spends time with her partner, dog and cat, and enjoys traveling, hiking, skiing and building relationships within her new community.
