About Nicole
Nicole Koda, MSN, APRN, FNP-C, is a nurse practitioner at Valley View Gastroenterology Center, where she provides care for patients with inflammatory bowel disease (IBD) and a range of general gastrointestinal conditions.
Originally from Florida, Nicole earned both her bachelor’s and master’s degrees in nursing at The University of Tampa. Her clinical background includes experience at Tampa General Hospital, as well as advanced practice work in Rheumatology, where she developed a strong interest in treating patients with autoimmune conditions.
Nicole is deeply passionate about patient counseling and education, believing that understanding the “why” behind care options empowers patients to take an active role in their health. She leads with open communication, trust and transparency, and is committed to building meaningful, lasting relationships with every patient.
When she’s not working, Nicole enjoys staying active outdoors—preferably near a body of water. A former NCAA competitive swimmer, she competed in mid-distance and open-water events in college. With experience in a large metropolitan hospital setting, Nicole looks forward to living and working in a close-knit mountain community.
