Areas of Focus / Advanced Certifications: Assesses and treats both adults and pediatrics with speech, language, feeding/swallowing, cognition, and voice disorders. Specialty training in head and neck cancer, modified barium swallow studies, myofascial release manual therapy for voice and swallowing disorders, neuromuscular electrical stimulation (NMES) for swallowing, LSVT LOUD Parkinson’s voice therapy, Mcneil Dysphagia Therapy Program, and PROMPT.
Treatment Philosophy: Therapy to me is meaningful, motivational, and functional. It allows the patient to be able to communicate as effectively as possible, in order to enhance their quality of life and communicate their needs effectively and efficiently.
